What is the Future of Cooling™?

Updated: Sep 13, 2019

What will cooling technology look like in 5, 10, or even 25 years? Mahatma Ghandi once said that we need to "be the change you wish to see in the world."

Here are problems with current systems of cooling: cost, access, effectiveness, and harm to our environment.

Every year, several trillion pounds of food lost or wasted around the world, enough to almost feed half of the world. Estimates that up to 75% of vaccines and other medicines spoil by the time they arrive to the patients. Currently, 10% or so of greenhouse gasses are caused by the release of Freon, CFCs, and HFCs from refrigeration and a/c units.

We envision a world where hunger is not caused by food spoilage, a world where medicine doesn't spoil due to heat, and a world where our cooling solutions not only don't harm but have a positive impact on the environment.

Below is a short video that gives a glimpse of what we do and the vast range of possibilities and applications our platform technology has to offer.

From Zero Power Cooling, instant cooling, and closed loop, to textiles and phase change materials, our technology is 100% eco-friendly and compostable. Frosty Tech™ is working toward meaningful solutions for real world problems.

We all are The Future of Cooling™. Comment below what's the biggest change you'd like to see in the way we chill and keep things cold!
